Lake Malawi has some of has some of the most spectacular diving in Africa! With endless turquoise waters and tiny cichlids to add a splash of colour, half the beauty of Cape Maclear is under the surface of that enticing blue water.

We offer diving for those holding a certificate for Open Water Diving. A dive costs $35 per person. For those
seeking dive certification, Patrick has recently joined the HEEED team as a Dive Instructor. He offers courses in Open Water, Advance, Adventure, Rescue and many more courses. For more information see SCUBA SHACK Cape Maclear divers’ brochure.

Whether you are after a day trip to Thumbi Island to go snorkelling or a sunset cruise to feed the Fish Eagles, our two boats with their experienced boatmen are at your disposal. Talk to Elious at the lodge for more details as prices depend on the itinery.
